I see where some of the comments from Thor and Sopwith are coming from. Drawn in low ready is one thing but drawn with sights on target is a whole 'nother level.
We've all seen plenty of pictures where LEO were mishandling a firearm: the CO bank robber intersection incident, the Boston marathon LEO pictures showing snipers on barn roofs aiming into houses, the LEO that pulled over a kid not long ago pointing his weapon at her asking how she felt, etc, etc... It's those images + events like the old man getting shot in his own garage during a wrong house LEO invasion that make law abiding citizens fear for the safety of themselves and family when LEO are on scene with weapons not just drawn but drawn with sights on target.
