Anyone know of something big happening on the north side of 465? Just between US 31 and the Michigan Rd exit there were about 15 or so squad cars along with a few officers up on the Township Line Rd overpass.

The cops on the overpass have LiDAR (laser) guns and clock the cars, then radio to the officers on the highway which cars to pull over.

Didn't anyone give them the memo that everybody speeds on 465 just to keep up with flow of traffic. Even our INGO cops say they speed on 465 to avoid having a trail of cars behind them. Meanwhile in other parts of town where cops are doing real police work they probably would have appreciated some more help.

What? No one up in arms at all the Staties that were on 37 between Bloomington and Martintucky yesterday? And between Crane and Bloomington?

I drive 65 on the interstate and still get passed.

And the officers were working a grant-paid detail so they weren't taking away from manpower.
