I`m trying to figure out when the new episode shows up each week...

It's normally Sunday. Unless they decide to skip a week or two, for no apparent reason.

Maybe it's just me, but skipping weeks seem like an insult to those of us watching diligently. Especially with that wicked look ahead teaser in episode one.

At my age, I'd settle for either one, but I didn't know about porn star Sam Elliot! I'm thinking my preference would be the cowboy. There'd be too much pressure with the other one.

As I asked for discussion earlier the ”wild west” and “cowboy era” was not a very long time at all.

They have several planned by Taylor Sheridan, Jimmy is off to start the four sixes show…

First episode Tim‘s character used a nice rifle with a Malcom 3/4 inch scope. Looking at it the second viewing the rifle appears to be a 1885 High Wall. John Moses Browning started making them in 1879 in his shop in Utah but the would have been one of a kind prototypes and being that the james Dutton lived in Tennessee and was traveling to Texas I don’t think he found his way to some obscure gun shop in Utah on his way to Texas.

so far that has been to only non time period weapon I have seen used but the 1885 high wall was not made in 1883. I guess I will give the show a little slack and go with James Dutton being an ultra prepper with a long range single shot experimentAl rifle, looks like true Winchester double barrel shots guns or nice reproductions and reproduction colt revolvers.
i will also admit that scene was bad ass.

Just now watching Episode #6. It`s a family affair-Rita Wilson is in this episode, and of course Tom Hanks was in the series an episode or two ago.

I really like Tim McGraw's character. He`s like Rip in Yellowstone but with a bit more restraint.
