OK, I switched my "Jefe" grips to my Taurus Stainless. I like the looks and feel of these grips, so I am ordering a set in Cherry wood for The Daly Version of the 1911, and a set in this Light-Oak to fit my Ruger Super Blackhawk.

Pre war 38 super

Having listened to many stories of Dillinger and Hoover and others as a youth I have always loved the guns from that era, so when I found this one in a LGS I had to buy it. Colt 1911 in .38 super, mfg. 1936. I can see Dillinger sitting under a shade tree after a long day running from the cops with a .38 super in his lap and peeling an apple with a Case xx knife!

Grip envy.

Thank you. I love these grips. Much better that the factory grips the piece came with. They were custom made for me by GripUs. I wanted one grip to have the Navy emblem and the other to have the Marine Corps emblem. Only $75 which included shipping and only took about a week to arrive after I ordered.
