There is a call into 911 about a stabbing and the victims call a friend who is able to make it to the scene and kill the offender before the police arrives? If true, there is A LOT wrong with this, but I'll wait on the final outcome.

This is the most recent I can find on their website... "The incident took place around 2:55 a.m. Police said Turentine, who officers described as cooperative after immediately identifying himself as the shooter, was taken into custody. The gun used has been recovered as well."

If the shooter was summoned to the scene some time after the stabbings he has some 'splaining to do. Shooting the stabber during the assault would be far less messy legally.

Guys, I was there. This whole thing unfolded in a matter of less than a minute. It appears to be a good shoot based on the information that I have been made aware of. In reference to the "call" to a friend for help, I believe it was more like a "shout" and not a telephone call.

While not impossible, this story is harder to put a negative spin on.
Psycho stabby guy going nuts on a crowd gets taken out by legal gun owner before more people get hurt or worse.
