i finally got all the trees cut and the final yardage for the long range is 400 yds. i know not exactly long range. trust me its not what i had in mind, but the wet fields have pretty well screwed us

Vette, it's not your fault. your being kind enough to offer your property and clearing trees in the rain:)
I respect the choices you had to make.
    just worked out this way.

I'm pretty sure 4 football fields is plenty for what some people are shooting. How often do people get to shoot at this distance?? Not to mention with a bunch of smart people to give advice along the way.

Just got home.. had a blast! Great meeting everyone, though like I told you when we met, I would not remember your names. Special thanks to Vette and his family for having us at their place. Thanks to MilitaryPol for planning the event. Wish someone would have explained the scoring to me before hand. I thought the higher scores where better... If I knew that I would have been 3rd from the top, not 3rd from the bottom....:D

i think i could have broke the 40 second mark if i had got down to my rifle a little faster. also if my gun had feed but the getting into position is somthing ill work on for the next one.

this event went great. we were happy with how it ran and know what to change to make the next one even better

Yeah it was an extremely long ride home here also. It was great to meet you all and thanks to 42769vette and family. I look forward to the next gathering. I will try to orchestrate something here in the future for a shoot.
