I don't mean to step on any toes here, but just curious where the ticket money is going. I realize that you have to be able to cover your costs as well as others involved, but if 1,000 people show up, what is the $10k going to be used for?

I guess what I'm getting at is I don't want to spend $10 or $20 and show up and have the place so crowded that I can't get any useful information out of the demos/tests and then find out that ECR and SSNFA pocketed every penny of the money from the huge ticket sales numbers. I'd be much more likely to attend if this was seen as a true demo vs. a "cash cows" for the sponsors and organizers. I'm sure you'll sell plenty of suppressors and make lots of future customers the way it is.

Once again, don't mean any offense to you or the organizers, but just curious where the money is going if there is a huge surplus after costs are covered.

ETA, does anybody know if/how much it costs to go to the AAC shoot?

    No offense taken.

This event is my event. I am paying 100% of the range rental, insurance, ticket printing, banner printing, advertising, wristband printing, hiring workers ect...

AAC only had 1400 people for a 2 day event last year. If 150 people show up to this then I will be happy. I will lose money, but I will be happy and we will all have a fun day.

Left over money from paying costs will go towards next years shoot. Maybe in 5 years we can have what AAC has, but it will never happen at ECR. (Unless We Never Allow Rifles)

We have also offered SEVEN HOURS of shooting (your guns or our guns) for $20.00. I don't know where you can get that anywhere else.

That works for me. I would certainly expect you to at least try to cover your costs. And I definitely respect holding onto any excess funds for next years expenses.
