2015 Hillside Shooting Sports 2gun Series

As the title to the thread says, Hillside Shooting Sports.

For these events I will most likely push the distances out farther than 300. With there being no shotgun, we will only be running Par Times on the Long Range stages of 100 seconds. Will most likely see targets at 400 and 450 with a Bonus target(not HVT, no penalty if not hit) at 600.

Will most likely be 4 events total, starting in March and running 2nd Saturday every other month with a 2 Day 10 Stage Championship in September. 7 Stages on Day 1 and 3 the following with prizes and awards immediately following scoring tally.

I too will probably jump in so long as it doesn't interfere with my cowboy schedule...I have been wanting to play 3 gun anyway and this sounds like a good way to ease into it...

Edit, nevermind, just read the rest of the thread and saw it was the fourth Sunday...

Its looking like the schedule is not set. With there going to be 20 events for Indiana Multigun this year alone, we are going to wait until their schedule is set and hold 2gun events on the weekends there is no 3gun. Also, we will most likely not be doing a Series now. Just 2 2gun events with a smaller prize table at each event as sponsors are to excited about sponsoring this and 3gun.

We will most likely do a Late Spring 2gun event and and a early fall 2gun event now.

Sorry for the excitement but there is just an over saturation of shooting events in this State and without knowing for sure we'll have the numbers to make this worth even the effort of setting it up, we are gonna just hold 2 events this year to see how it goes.

Cut off is 70 Shooters per event.

Registration is required ahead of time. Registration is live on the website and can be found at http://www.hss2gun.us/series-registration.html

$30 per event or register for both up front and save $10.

150 rounds per gun. 6 probably 7 stages at each event. YOU WILL NEED A SLING FOR YOUR RIFLE. A SLING THAT WILL RELIABLY LET YOU CARRY THE WEAPON WITH THE MUZZLE IN A SAFE DIRECTION. SINGLE POINT SLINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
