Not going to make this one. Wanted to work it, but daughter is on a travelling volleyball team and there is a a tournament that weekend.

From Feb to May most of my weekends are done. No shooting.

Limited 10 question. Is a thumb rest legal in Limited 10, I can find nothing in the rules book that says it is or is not legal. Limited 10 is simply Limited class with a round restriction. I don't want to show up with a thumb rest and end up in Open. I think the Limited 10 division will get more shooter for this Match. Max

I have never been to a competition like this but am interested. Where can I get more information about how its run? I dont have a USPSA #. I saw this was one of the requirements for certain matches.

    Any details would be appreciated.

After doing a little research on the USPSA page check out the Newbie match at this link. It would be a great place to get started.

You can find a basic overview of the sport, the rules, how to become a member, etc at uspsa.org.
Youtube can show what shooting a match looks like, just search "uspsa" and you'll find lots of match videos out there.

Nothing beats experience, though. Between now and this April match, you'll have quite a few opportunities to shoot club-level matches around the state to get familiar with the sport. For club level events, you do not have to be a uspsa member. It's much better to get your equipment figured out, get a basic understanding of the rules, get familiar with moving/shooting at a club event before jumping in to a larger Level-II like this one.

    Have fun!
