One that has intrigued me but haven't handled is the S&W 422 and 622 series.

The only thing I didn’t love about mine, at the time, was how light it is. The 2206 is the one I’d buy for a 4” or 6” barrel. The 2213/2214 would make awesome suppressor hosts.

Wow. That is a long barrel. They still make them?

No longer made , the 10" pictured above was last available in the MKII series. I was able to pick one up new in 2004 at the Indy gun show.

I'm going to catch flack for this, but I really enjoy my Heritage Rough Rider pistol, it's a joy to shoot, and I find it to be decently accurate.
No flack, I really enjoy my new Wrangler. Fun/cost ratio of the little SAAs is ridiculous.

    Not far from the tree
One of these days, I'm gonna pay Volquartzen what they want and get a one off MK IV with a 12" ultralight bbl and one of their 22/45 lowers. Think that would be a perfect squirrel pistol.

I added another Hi Standard the other day. Finally found the "hens tooth". A light weight 100 series Flight King.

The thing is a mess but it should be able to be brought back.

My Walther P22 5" is a freaking blast. I have put more than 2000 rounds through it and still love the gun. The best part about it, is it is great for taking first time shooters and really accurate.

It seems I have had them all since I've never met a .22LR I didn't enjoy and probably bought over 2, maybe nearly 3 dozen .22LR.
    I'm down to 3 pistols, 2 revolvers & 1 rifle in .22LR.
I'm retired and trying to trim down to the best revolver, best pistol & best rifle.
    Or two of each. :dunno:

S/W 41: an older 80s gun, but love the weight (over $1000 in it so far). My best shooter of stock guns I own.
Bought from a member here and updated internals & rear sight.

These shoot about the same, but I tried to put them in order:
    1. Browning Buckmark Target; 7.25 barrel length; ($375 w/tax); owned 2 or 3 of these
    2. Ruger Mark 4 Target ($325); owned 2 or 3 of these (bought all off a member here)
    3. S/W Victory ($275); owned 3 of these (2 bought off members here)

NOTE: UPDATE EDIT = I went to the range after writing the above and discovered that my S/W Victory with the red dot shot better at 20', 30' & 40' than any of the others.

There have been some older guns that have done well:
    Colt Target .22LR (from late 90s) ($525)
    S/W 22A (x3: $175, $200 & $225)
