Its a Ruger Number 1, not a semi auto (even after a fair amount of Mountain Dew).
    100 cases should be enough.
And its not hard to find, hell my dad said he proly has some.
280 AI ammo is more plentiful, and premium versions.........40 bucks a box.
I'll proly just snag 2 boxes of Rem 140gr and see how it shoots.
Have one box of Federal Premium. If it loves that, buy more.
But I don't want to rough zero w premium LOL

Its together finally. New screw ordered for bottom. Replaced top screws of rings w new.
Cleaned up the boogered lower ring screw and ordered a new one for $9.

Note: I normally use torx on my Burris rings and a Wheeler torque driver.
But little slotted rings...........nope. I didn't hit 20 in lbs and stopped, even with fingers holding bit to ring, it felt like it would slip out at snap over.
Not what boogered the screws though..............doubt whoever mounted the old Lyman in this rig used a hollow ground bit.

Maybe not even a reg Craftsman bevel screwdriver LOL.
    They were pretty ratty.

35 rem, black synth w leupold 1.5-5x in Warne rings.
Can maybe get one done under 3K.

    No hurry.

Honestly if this was a B in .243 win itd be stayin.
Less collectible. But my ideal chuck popper.

An RSI in 35 rem might be OK. Boom and not crack.
    More polite.

And euro trash being a .35 and full stock.
