$300 for a used .38 special.. What would you get?

I love my Taurus 85ch. I wear it on my ankle every night. I love shooting it as well and I often feel I shoot better with it then I do my Glock. If I was the OP, I would get my post count over 50, then look at Sheila's (Knife Lady) Taurus 85 she is selling for under $300 then take the money left over and buy some ammo for it.

I found a very nice model 042 for $ 260 two weeks ago, put that bad boy on lay away look to pick it up in a week or so.
there are deals out there to be had.
Take your time and shop around.

Older Colts,Smiths and Rugers are out there if you look for $300. I prefer a steel frame revolver but I am old school revolver fan. I recently picked up a S&W Model 10-5 two inch revolver in very nice shape for $325 otd at the local gun shop. My carry gun is a Colt detective special with a Don Hume #52 belt holster. Easy to conceal and is comfortable to carry. Take your time and you can find a nice revolver. Best regards

Another vote for the Taurus 85. Although the 856 gives you a 6th round. Bud's has the Taurus 617, 7 shot 357 for just over $300.
