I can't beat 231/HP38 in any of my .45s for accuracy at 25 and 50 yards. Next best powders would be Bullseye, Red Dot, and AA2.

45acp with AutoComp powder. Shooting 185g LSWC and 230g RN plated. Using mid to upper level loads per AutoComp load data.
Insignificant leading. My ability is the limit to accuracy rather than powder. Also meters well
This right hereWhen the time comes don't forget tried and true Bullseye with 230 grain Xtreme copper plated bullets. Depending on your 1911, assuming you have one, 4.6-4.9 grains usually does the trick.
