First off: THANK YOU TO HOTPOCKET AND KINNARD80 FOR THAT AWESOME FOOD AND HOSPITALITY! Their place is great! I started to bring Balloo home with me but was afraid I would drown in the drool in the Subaru!

It was an awesome snowy day at a fantastic venue. A cabin with a woodstove. A big firepit. Steel and food. Snowballs and chopped trees. Alternately making fun of Que and Tyler34 - who both had a great time! It was just an awesome day and I can't thank kinnard / hot pocket enough for putting up with all of us!

I had a great time and it continued on with a trip to Bradis for Que, Danielocean and myself. Thanks, on behalf of myself, to everyone that showed up. Everyone brought some cool steel and seemed to have a great time.

I took a camera but ended up taking no pictures at the event - I was having too much fun. What I did do was take some shots as I was unpacking.

It can be overwhelming trying to remember all of the models everyone brought today so I figured I would post some of mine for reference of those attending, if interested in trying to find the same model. I would encourage others to do the same. I **ESPECIALLY** am looking forward to all of the danielocean and que shots from the event!! :yesway:

Thanks for starting the AAR paddling_man, I hope you didn't cut yourself with a "letter opener!"

I'll second p_m's sentiments, a big thank you to our more than gracious hosts, I think a great time was had by all. Great weather, great venue, great food and great blades!

Given the fact that he beat me to making an AAR thread, I thought it would only be fitting to open with this one:

Que admiring the aftermath of a David Wesner/Kelsey Creek custom chopper of paddling-man's. This was a SERIOUSLY good chopper, I think this blade impressed everyone who used it.
