    This is INGO.

If I think this is a false flag event, then the chief didn't say that and you were not watching. And even if you were watching, and that is what he said, then he's part of it, too. And probably, so are you.

    :)

Unfortunately, if I am involved in any conspiracies I am unaware of it, which means my role is to be the patsy.

It doesn't sound like they have any leads, or at least they aren't divulging much.
    .

Anything I would divulge at this point would be something I wanted the suspect to hear. It might even be the truth. Announcing where his cell phone pinged, for example, is probably a good indication they no longer have the cell phone ping or they know he's ditched it, ie left it on a bus or something. I'd let the media know I was chasing his phone, too, so he thinks his ruse worked.

    Well, to him maybe.

Right. And if you want it to "make sense", you have to look through his point of view.

Indicates there are more victims. That creates uncertainty, and people hate uncertainty.
Killed one person and puts the blame on her. Guilt, etc. Pretty self explanatory.
Now he's evading capture. Again, uncertainty. Will he kill someone else "for her". Then fear. Will he kill her? Her family members?

If he killed her, it's over and she doesn't suffer. If he offs himself, it's over and at least she is released from the uncertainty and fear.

If you view it from the perspective of someone wanting to cause the most psychological torture for his ex, then it makes perfect sense.

IOW, the mentality of pure evil.
There's a reason that most people shy away from your profession; they don't want to have to get into the head of monsters to capture them.

Holy ****, just saw the vid for the first time. Poor victim never had a chance. And to ANYONE who thinks disarming good law abiding citizens is a viable way to reduce such violence, what more proof do you need? Any person or government who thinks they have the moral authority to dictate how law abiding citizens should defend themselves should imagine what it's like to come face-to-face with a monster like this while unarmed. What are you gonna do you call a cop? No offense to LEO here but they can't be everywhere we all know that.

I'm looking forward to the day when we can hear the news that this bastard has assumed ambient temperature.
