I bought a used, unconverted Saiga 7.62 in 2011 for $299, and it's been rock solid for many thousands of rounds.

I was fortunate enough to snag one of the 308s when they had them. I really cant wait to pick that one up this weekend. I unfortunately missed the 7.62X39 this time around. I regret not getting both of them at the same time. Especially considering how much I enjoy shooting 762X39... I almost think I should have gotten the 39 instead.

Heck either one is fun... in recent went over to 6.5 grendel and really love it.. real similar case to the x39
