I use Permatex Anti Seize on my Marlin 80 bolt. Used it for 2yrs before cleaning and had probably 1.5k through it from youth shoots and my own shooting habits. I know at the first youth shoot I had no issues at approx 700 rounds while my 10/22 started to have issues around 400 with plain old mil surp CLP.

In all fairness... Hard to compare a bolt gun with a semi.

If I had 2 of the exact same guns, I'd be tempted to do a test where I'd detail strip, clean, and then reassemble 2 10/22 rifles (and mags), lube them appropriately, and then just see how many rounds it took for one lubed with Brand A to suffer, and how many rounds for rifle lubed with Brand B to suffer.

I use Lubiplate on anything that slides. M1, M1A, 1911, and the rails on my Sigs

+1 for Lubriplate 105 (Engine Assembly Grease).

We use the stuff to build every Cummins engine tested. Works well on my bolt guns and AR alike.
