About this time last year, I was on my home from a week in South Africa. The most dangerous part of the trip was the drive through Chicago to and from O'Hare. Being a passenger in vehicles driven by South Africans was a bit of a white knuckler at times but apparently crashes involving the wildlife were a bigger concern than head on collision with other aggressive drivers. The people were extremely friendly, the scenery was nice and the food was a carnivore's dream. You would have to spend weeks in multiple western states and Alaska or go to the correct game farm in Texas to see the variety of wildlife I saw in one day in South Africa. In Texas, just hunting a red hartebeest like in my avatar would have cost more than my entire trip to SA and I brought home 5 other species as well! I can't wait to go back and see other parts of the country and some of the neighboring ones as well.
