    Same here. There are all sorts of weirdnesses in the tax code, like for several years it benefited us to file separately and doing so really depressed the amount we could put in a Roth to the point it wasn't worth the trouble

    Every time I look on Autotrader it is literally scary to me what decent vehicles cost. I consider vehicles financially evil. You will never make money on them, you can only hope to limit the loss on it. Not to mention repairs an upkeep.
