Yet another classified rant. So, there was a rifle in the classifieds that I was interested in. The rifle was listed for $450 OBO. I contacted the owner and offered $400 and to drive to him. He said he would not take a penny less than $450.

I was unaware that the letters OBO mean extremely firm. Must be latin or something.

In the Yoruba language OBO means female reproductive orifice.
You offered 400 of virtue unknown, he requested 450 firm ones.
    Just a miscommunication IMHO

C'mon guys. He likely meant Or Best Offer. Like, I want $450 but if while on your way down I get offered $500. Welll that's the best offer and you can go beat off!

pet peeve: seeing people asking more for a used gun here than the same gun goes for new on another auction site. It shouldn't bother me and I should be happy they made the profit and maybe they really overpaid when they bought it but DAMN, do some research instead of wasting space. rant over.
