Another Gun Shop Gone

I learned today that Downham and Sons in Logansport recently closed their doors.

It seems like all the shops I grew up with in this area are going the way of the bison. Lengal's, The Gun Room, MacDonalds, Logansport Shooters Supply, Sand Burr Gun Ranch and the list goes on and on.

Very sad to see these "old time" gun shops close down. Does anyone know what ever became of the Sand Burr Gun Ranch after Denny's wife Cindy passed?

Not to be a downer, but what passes for a gun shop these days is pretty minimal compared to the old days.
