That's not a bad idea, unless the OP has no feedback no gunbroker then he might get hosed.

I not sure what the handgun pawn laws are in KY, but maybe you can she what a shop in Henderson will give you. Cause we know the five pawn shops in Evansville will not offer much.

I need to sell part of my guns fairly quickly, but I can't post on here since I just discovered this site and am a new member of the forums. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I hate to go to a gun shop and get 60% at the best, but may not have any choice.

Lots of location specific (i.e. Southern Indiana, Evansville area, etc) Facebook groups you can join to sell a firearm.

Some gun stores will let you sell on consignment, I have done this at BareArms in Noblesville, worked out pretty well when I was strapped for cash.

If it's Priced right it will sell quickly. Too many, are asking 600 dollars for a 300 dollar gun. Most, if Not all gun stores will offer you, pennies on the dollar.

So I got myself in a bind and I'm looking to sell one of my handguns and FAST. I have it posted here:

    https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...-od-bi-tone-9mm-speer-gold-dot-ammo-more.html

but I know the private sale bit can take some time.....of which I don't have a lot. If I can't sell the thing at a good price within about 5 days max then I'll just keep it as I really LOVE the piece and the event I need cash for will have passed soon after that anyway. I'm guessing no local gunshops would be willing to give me anywhere close to what I need? Obviously if I sell to a shop I'll keep the ammo and lower my price accordingly. Any ideas? Or am I just SOL? I'm in Evansville but I'd be willing to drive a bit at this point.

Private sale would be the way to go... that pistol is a hot item right now. Put a small discount on it and it will sell in a day here on INGO..and you will get much more of your money back.
