I've got two and would not mind having a few more. These are both Henry's. A 45-70 and a Brass Big Boy. Goth have Skinner sights and Merit apertures. I really love shooting them both. The next one will probably be a Marlin 1895 Cowboy. I have had an urge to own one for a while.

I have 2 lever actions, the Henry Golden Boy (.22 LR) and Big Boy (.45 colt).
I plan on picking up a 45-70 one of these days.

Was never a huge lever action person, just not my thing.

That being said, this is pretty fun to shoot and if I could get an 1894 in .357......I'd be tempted to do the same

This is exactly why I want a 357! I'll shoot 38 subs out of it with a can on the end! Been keeping an eye out... A little omega 9k or something of the likes would be pretty nice.

A lever action .22 is that I learned on and I want one of my own.

I don't have one yet, but a Henry Golden Boy .22 is on the list. That will probably be picked up this year, but I've been instructed that I can't buy anymore until the wedding funds are filled.

While perusing thr Henry site last night, I saw they have a new lever action .410. That has been added to the list of wants now as well, though I really don't have a good reason for having it...

For those who have the Henry .22s, are they as nice to shoot as they are to look at?

I think you can pick up a modern 405 for $1300 or so on GB if you're patient. Ammo can be found but isn't cheap, but the same can be said for 30-40 these days. Both calibers for me are cast lead bullets.

I got mine for $850 from GB back in 2008 when everyone was trying to get ARs! In addition to .405 1895 I have a JC Higgins(made by Marlin) 30-30 and another in .35 Rem. I also have a Marlin 1894 .41 mag that I bought for hunting but am selling it since I don't shoot it any more.

Winchester 94 Trapper in .44 Mag.
    Winchester 1895 in 30/40.
Marlin 1895 Guide Gun in 45/70.
    Browning BL-22 (.22LR)

I keep looking at various Henrys, including the Long Ranger in .308. And some of the Rossi's in .357. Might look to a 30/30 sometime - would prefer that in Win 94, but others would fit the bill.

MY next long gun purchase will be a lever gun in either 357 (which I currently load for), or 44 mag (which I don't currently own/shoot).
I think the Truth About Guns (TTAG) website did some comparisons between 30-30 and 357 Mag in lever guns. Long story short, the 357 gets a big boost in a long barrel, but at best it comes to meet minimal 30-30 numbers.

    ... now 45-70, that's a different story

I think this may be a better write up:

    Henry 22LR Golden Boy

The Henry Golden Boy is one I traded for with an INGO member for a Ruger 10/22 Manlicher that I had scoped. The Ruger was a really pretty rifle, great wood on the manlicher stock. But that Henry in 22LR is just crazy fun, and has a silky-smooth action to it. They're all a hoot, with the Big Boy 357 being the most handsome of the bunch.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands the new Henry All Weather in 357, it looks really nice. Overall, I not only love these lever guns, but the Big Boys make for excellent compliments to my 357 revolvers. I keep saying one of these days I'll get into reloading!
