    Looks good. Whats the draw weight? Where did you get your materials?
    I have been hunting with a 55# longbow for years and now my son and I are talking about building takedown recurves. I have been looking at the products and kits from Bingham Projects.

    hard to go wrong with bingham if you follow their instruction you will end up with shootable bows your first try. I have built about 35 bows and these are of my own design. this one will be around 40# @ 28"

    I bought a recurve off of Craigslist this winter. It was a browning wasp and I love it. It is my first recurve and seems to be pretty good for the money! Having a lot of fun with it none the less.

    I have built several longbows and one self bow. I have not built one in about 15 years now but still get them out and shoot in the back yard when I am not fishing. Love the simplicity of a stick bow..

    That is a very interesting grain in that wood!

    I have been mulling over the thought of carving my own long bow out of a osage stave...

    My FIL has a whole fence row of potential contributors.
