I have been shooting traditional since 1972. I went to compounds for a while in the 80's and about 1987 I went back to recuves full time. Dennis, that old bighorn looks familiar. I believe I may have shot a round or two with that bow out in Colorado.

AHHH, a week in the Colorado mountains, those were some great times weren't they Dave? I miss going to that CBA shoot. We needed to do that again.

Man that photo does bring back memories. Maybe we can get back to the mountains for that shoot again sometime. It would be nice to set up that Indiana camp again!

I spent two weeks in the mountains up around Grandby CO in 05 hunting elk with a stickbow. It was pretty awesome. Something about packing in and hunting with trad gear turned a hunt into adventure.

Abraham473, that camp photo was taken just south of Vail, Co. Carrying a trad. bow in the mountains does make for a wonderful hunt and the feeling just can't be explained.
