Here's a PSA that I assembled using one of their Gadsen lowers. My original intent with this rifle was to make it as close to exactly what I carried in the sand box back in '03 as possible. I also wanted to play around with it with a scope on it to see what kind of range I could get on it. Then of course I also had to put the 37mm flare laucher on it just because it makes liberals want to cry.

The rifle is pretty standard other than I put a JP 3# trigger in it, and a KAS rail on it. The stock pouch was purchased in Kuwait and is still working just fine. Otherwise I really haven't messed with it.

As it sets with the scoped configuration:

Here's how I had mine issued back in the day:

Here's how I set it up when I need to make a demacrat wet their diaper:

    It's a Spikes 37mm Havoc flare launcher.

This was my first assembled AR. It was a Del-Ton dissipator kit from Midway and is what has started the build sickness to set in. Nothing on this gun is factory anymore.

Im totally digging your set up, what mount are you using for the aimpoint pro ? And what type of cowitness does it give ? Props for the sweet ar :yesway:

Thanks for the kind words my friend. It's an American Defense 68 Medium Standard Profile Aimpoint Co-Witness Mount. It gives you absolute co-witness. It's also very solid and easy to adjust.

Here's a stock picture of it:

You're looking at a Colt M231 port firing weapon complete upper. Interesting features are no sights, the bolt carrier key fasteners are pinned instead of staked, no forward assist and the obvious port threads.
