Hey, Denny, was there an official estimate of the number in attendance by the officers present?

Probably 1000ish. It was heavy between 1230 and 130. No counter protesters that I could see either. There is some kind of cheer event going on downtown also and a ton of young girls with their mothers strolling around. They didn't seem freaked out by it that I could see.

That was the first time I'd ever gone to anything like that. I really didn't know what to expect, but I believe it is that important to show up. And much respect to all of you.

I tried (and failed) to get 4 other gun owning people to go but they claimed they had things to do. Very bothersome to me. It's not as if the hundreds of people there had things to do also. I'm going to hassle them mildly to be there feb 8th.

Three squad cars on this side (capital st). The smiled and nodded when I stuck my camera up to their windshield.

A Tahoe, challenger and another cruiser on the other end.

I spoke to these officers and thanked them for their service. I thought they were awesome. I also gave them a "Right Wing Extremest" Flag pin. They both laughed.
