I've sold a TON of holsters and other stuff to Illini with no problems as people are people. I guess I am open to freedom and democracy tho.

Hey! You and your newfangled "common sense " have NO place in this Illini bashing thread, Mister!

He's trying to turn his life around. How else is he supposed to get money for school

    LOL. Just stop it. LOL

Too bad we can't pillory people as a sentence these days. I think being locked in stocks outside the gun show entrance with a sign that says thief would be a good punishment. Vendors could sell old vegetables to throw at the miscreant.

If they can show that he intended to take it back to Illinois, wouldn't that be "theft of a firearm with intent to illegally transport across state lines? Smells like federal charges, but since he was probably working for the DOJ or Rahm Emanuel, it won't amount to anything.

Wow! I left right before then but I'm glad he was caught and there was enough of a commotion to make an example out of him. Bravo to the Lake County Sheriff!

I've seen people at that show that are either drug dealers or trying to look like drug dealers.

Granted, but on the other end of the stick, every time we turn around, Chicago is trying to scapegoat there violence problems on Indiana with it's "lax" gun laws. Funnily enough, the last person I heard of that got busted making straw purchases in Indiana and letting criminals in Chicago have the guns, they gave that person a whole whopping 2 years probation.

About a year ago I was at the C.P. Show.
A real down and out looking Dude I think at "ZGUNS".
Ready the form. he listed that he was a felon and lived in Illinois.
    When the salesman questioned him.
The dude actually said, I did not think that mattered.
When the salesman refused. The dude pulled out a roll of cash to choke a horse.
The dude kept pressuring the salesman.
I popped off, I will go check with the officer at the door for you.
The dude pushed the cash into his pocket and faded into the crowd.
