i'll happily eat bacon in either form, but prefer it "juicy". the only time i really prefer it crisp is in bit form going on my salad.

You guys haven't had good bacon until you've had it straight from the farm. YUM YUM Thin and crisp or Thick and chewy...it's all better than anything you can get from the store.

Haven't had any of that in years. My mother would trim it and cook the cracklin' hard for snack time. I know you northerners know nothing about that.

Waffle House Style

I like mine crispy, I had some the other day at a Waffle House in Georgia an when I attempted to pick it up it crumbled into a million pieces. Just a little to crispy for me.

crispy bacon is an abomination. its almost as unforgivable as cooking a steak or a burger well done.

Meh. Ranger is used to things being limp anyway.


I like mine crispy. It is an art to cook bacon crispy without it being burnt and dry.

i'm lucky, local packing house about 10 min. from my house has fresh side on hand at all times. my parents usually buy a hog from a neighbor every 6 mos. or so and get a lot of fresh side made.
