    Compared to the PI Utility, they are. If I have to replace another PTO this year I'm going to lose it.

    Ford AWD PTU has about a quart of fluid. seems that the fluid breaks down quickly due to heat.

    I saw several of the Ford PTU's leak anf have issues with the 2015 Interceptors. But mostly that seems to have been fixed. When I received training on them we were told they only hold 12oz of fluid. As a fleet tech one big problem is they keep making cars smaller and cramming things in a tighter space. That means there's really nothing easy about working on one. Just look at the interceptors, water pump is a 12hr job, alternator requires suvk down ac and remove the compressor to get it out. It's all about getting the car back on the road ASAP with a fleet. The Crown Vic was the best for that reason..everything is easy on those

    So many comments about "gas cars run out of gas".

    The point is, you can refuel the car at the beginning or end of shift in minutes.
    You don't skip because it takes so long.
