    Nice.
What is the punishment if its found he did do it?

Well. The article mentions suspicion of using a firearm while committing a felony. The article doesn't directly link the two but it sort of implies that the "felony" that goes with the enhancement is for felony assault using a non-firearm deadly weapon, presumably the bike lock. Not sure what the firearm thing is about though. Dude's in a heap o' trouble if it's true.

I truly hope so. These nut jobs have to be held accountable.

It seems like the article liked was limited to whatever the police would tell them. But I'd really like to know more about the firearm charge. Did he have a firearm on him when he allegedly assaulted the dude with the bike lock?

As this took so long to unfold I am sure they have found something more than we are being told.
If he did have a firearm there goes the narrative.

I saw a different article and all it mentioned was assault with a deadly weapon "not a firearm."

When I first saw the article linked there was what I thought was an awkwardly worded paragraph that said something about possession of a firearm while committing a felony. When I later reread the article I didn't see that paragraph.
