Didn't like the jelly beans as a kid but I do now. I do like Jaegermeister.

As far as blue cheese, I like the dressing with my buffalo wings and I always put some blue cheese in my homemade mac and cheese to add a bit of funk.

This is the nastiest substance on the planet!!

My FIL liked it and we bought different kinds for him when we traveled. It had to ride in the bed of the truck, hermetically sealed so the smell didn't gag me!!

Early 2000s I was in Germany for work, went to outside market.
I caught a whiff of black licorice, and kep following to find where it was coming from.
I found the stand, and the lady running it let me try a piece of the heavenly hard candy…I bought several bags.

Side note:
She had darker skin, and raven black long hair, and the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen. Gorgeous smile.
That’s the end of my experience ya perverts, nothing untoward, she was just beautiful.

I used to (still do actually but don't drink anymore) love jagermeister.

For anyone up here, the Wakarusa Dime store, in Wakarusa and Granger carry a lot of odd ball candy. The carry BlackJack Gum!.

Love licorice. No doubt that Americans have been shunning, more and more, strong tasting foods over the decades. I like bleu cheese, limburger and extra sharp cheddar. A lot of younger folks just love sushi. For me, I'd just as soon take a fish out of the water and lick the slime off.

Oh my goodness, I'll have to try this tea!! Love black licorice but I'm the only one in the house that does. LOL, and yes I was that kid that would dig through the whole bag of jelly beans to get all the black licorice ones. Yum!

I've done some research on this and yes, it has the potential to cause some issues. But from what I can find, the folks that were messed up or died from it were consuming large quantities for periods of time.

I love black licorice. I always got my sisters jelly beans when we were kids because they hated it. Throw in some ginger snaps and I’m in heaven!

Pineapple and ham go together. Cloves are good on a baked ham too!

I do lots of cloves in my Easter and Christmas hams. Once In awhile I'll do the pineapple rings on a ham. Makes a nice sweet gravy too
