Hard to find black licorice around here. Use to get a few bags of black licorice jelly beans about Easter but can't find them anymore. The last bag was black jelly beans, no licorice to them. Get very few of them in a bag of Classic jelly beans. Black licorice and black licorice jelly beans aren't the same.
Rural King usually has black jelly beans and black licorice whips.

Rural King has these Snaps imitations:

They have a thicker licorice tube and are softer than Snaps.

Rural Kings black licorice twists are also pretty good.

Love me some black licorice!! I’ve been drinking that Stash tea off and on for years. I’m NOT a tea person, but that stuff? It’s amazing!

Buddy of mine hates black licorice and always tells a joke that creating it was God’s only mistake. So to make it “not a mistake,” he made us crazy folk who like it. :D

I haven’t had any licorice in awhile (trying to cut back on sweets), but I might just grab a bag of my choosing (G&P, Wally’s, Snaps, or something else) for my drive to Frankfort and back this week! :)

Black licorice, so bad it's the only jellybean left, except in that one house where numerous children surrounded the candy dish to see all black jellybeans. Right up there with diabetic candy.

For all the licorice lovers here, if you get the chance try a piece or 2 of salty (salmiakki) licorice.I like to nibble on some when I've got the Finns or Swedes out, adds to the authenticity. It'll clear you out if you've got some chest congestion going on. And if you like Ouzo or Jager, Salmiakki Koskenkorva might be just up your alley.
I was going to recommend that myself. Iodine candy! Great stuff!

I believe my father and I are the only two people I know who like black licorice. Had some 'Big Ben' anise flavored toffee in Denmark, it is really unique.
