Here is a video that has gone viral showing how two girls can climb to the top of our border fence, on their first try, without any equipment or assistance.

The fence costs $4 Million per mile.

They're smart enough to illegally come into and work in our country, get benefits from schools and healthcare, and still send money back to Mexico. They may not be educated but don't confuse that with stupid.

If a Chainlink fence and crap barriers cost 4 million per mile, how much do you honestly think the Israeli option would cost? Let's throw more money into a bottomless hole... The fence concept is a feel good measure so that politicians can point and say "there, see, I am hard on immigration" to get conservative voters, but keeps their flow of immigration up for his business buddies and even makes a few bucks for his contractor buddies to build a do nothing fence.

TopDog hit it on the head: Cut the allure off at the source. Make it difficult, if not impossible, to make any sort of living in the US unless you are a citizen. EXTREMELY harsh penalties for companies hiring illegals or noncitizens, almost to the point of closure. Cut the support for do nothing senators and representatives by their business buddies out from under them. Revise the citizenship status situation. INCREASE red tape to get into the US as a non-citizen. Isolationism!

On another situation: Get rid of no child left behind. Honestly, that fuels more and more immigration if you get down to it's core. With every American student trying to be cultivated into college graduates but not succeeding, we are removing AMERICANs that can be doing the landscaping/service/manufacturing work. We force those who honestly cannot perform in upper level jobs into doing mediocre performance at jobs that society says they can do, but cannot. The world does need ditch diggers... Albeit a small dent in the problem, it could increase competition for lower wage jobs and improve service in these areas due to english speaking individuals who are used to American culture and speech, rather than spending millions to train people to get a generic grasp of english (and only english based on their job) and culture.

I never saw them go over the fence, in fact when they reach the top they obviously knew making it the rest of the way was not an obtainable goal and slid back down to the bottom in defeat. I see a border fence win! Take that semi athletic chicks, you're still gonna have to ride back with that creep Steve. The gesture that appeared to be a "high five" at the end of the video was just, two woman (as usual) messing up the time old tradition of Paper, Rock, Scissors to see who had to ride shot gun with Steve the Creep..

they could at least add concertina wire to the US border fence for 4mil per mile... also sounds like that contractor made a HUGE profit or the govt hired illegals to build it and paid 4mil a mile to keep their mouth shut, along with citizenship, and no taxes.

A border fence is just ONE LAYER in a plan that needs to be done on MULTIPLE layers.

Take the profit out of hiring illegals, and remove the profit for illegals to come here.

A good share of the laws to do this are already on the books, we just need to enforce them.

Lastly, STOP with this MYTH that anybody born here is automatically a US citizen.

The 14th Amendment doesn't actually say that ANYBODY born here without exception is automatically a US citizen.

Amendment 14, Section 1. "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. ..."

THE KEY PHRASE is "..., and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,...".
