I just got 9 boxes of 223 for $.27/round from Wallyworld. I got lucky though. It was late when I was there and only 2 people were looking at ammo.

Oh yeah, . . . They can only hope that Hillary wins the next election to keep sales up.

No chance Hillary gets the nomination. The fix is in for Michelle.:nailbite: They want another feminine idiot they can parade around as they rob us blind. :wallbash:

Purple as needed. I know :blahblah:

Maybe it is time to start drinking. :buddies:

    Six weeks?

Have you been having clandestine parking lot meetings or am I missing something obvious?

The time to buy will be August until the elections in November.

Prices will reach their nadir in August and, depending on the election result, could spike in November or continue to decline.

I'm sorry to be so dense, but what is it that's supposed to happen in August?

If you overpaid during the scare you are doing it wrong. I picked up 2 colt ar's 20 pmags 18 troy battlemags, at pre panic prices. I could have easily gotten more but no reason to. Ammo on the other hand seems to be non existent but why get gouged on something that has no chance of being "banned".

    AR-15's easy to get now.

God help you if you need ammo for it.

223 is starting to free up. Not quite at the same price before all this, but getting there. Now 22LR, that must still be made of unobtanium from what I can tell.

Approaching the time to start buying. Six more weeks.

I'm thinking the same. Time to keep some money in the pocket to jump on some deals when they show up.

I have managed to find some OK deals on .45 ACP and .223/556
They are out there you just have to beat the bushes and grab what runs out.
I doubt we will see .35 cents a round for .223 for a while if ever again.

Agreed, it is starting to show up.

I think you are correct. We're starting to see some of it now, but I believe in August it will free up even more.

The laws of Economics will hold true, despite temporary forces and trends. It boils down to supply and demand - they will always balance out a volatile market.

The supply, or lack of, ammunition for AR's is probably one of the largest temporary forces on sales of the rifles. Been a wild and frustrating ride over the last six months...
