Browning 22lr

I have never seen this stuff before but I couldn't pass up getting some for the price and availability. Seems like some decent quality ammo. I haven't been able to buy a brick for over a year now. Scored some yesterday and today for a total of 1600 rounds. WOOT WOOT!! I have been trying to find some 22lr to teach my son to shoot. And my prayers have been answered.

I saw them on a Midwest flier. I want to get some but only because they say Browning on the box. Not real sure I want to drive to South Bend just for that. Probably see if my LGS can get me some.

You might want to re-read that cost ... but, if you're truly getting .50BMG for less than $0.0625 (6.25¢) per round please share the name of that source ... that could well be the deal of the century!

Blythes in Valpo had it for $99.00 a 1,000 rounds two weeks ago. I did not think it was a terrible price.

IMO 100 dollars is a horrible price for bulk 22lr.

Now 100 for 1k CCI mini mags is still a little steep

I bought 4 boxes at Midwest this past weekend. Their price was 7.5 cents a round. Higher than I would have hoped but given the chance another round of panic buying could hit in the next year or so I thought I better buy some to put with the rest of the cache.

Cabela's in Nobelsville had 400rd bricks of the 40gr round nose for $26 and 100rd boxes of 40gr high velocity HP for $11. Grabbed some but haven't been able to try it yet.

Shot 200 rounds of Browning .22lr over the weekend. It all went bang with no hiccups.

Purchased at Arrows III in Lafayette.

Been some reports of bad things happening with the Browning .22s...Might want to check what kind you've got and watch what you shoot it in.
