Unless a wine is REALLY sweet, it just tastes like vinegar to me.

You must be getting the good stuff. I told a waiter (not at Golden Corral either) that the wine tasted like dirt. He actually wrinkled up his nose and said...........earthy. Yup, dirt.

What an entertaining thread, especially the votes for butter because of taste, lol. Kerry Gold is great and some brands of imported French butter are even better but the common, cheap domestic brands are so flavorless as to be pointless.

Actually, more because it is a natural oil.

The NGMO crowd notwithstanding I would rather not eat hydrogenated oils.

BTW there is nothing that is not genetically modified above the elemental level.
