Not panic buying-just pulled out the Lee Turret Press last night after fifteen years in hibernation. Family, career and life put reloading on the back burner. No more - I just need to go on a powder hunt.

I keep telling myself that things will calm down after awhile & that we won't see any substantial ban. I don't know if it is hope or common sense, but it is keeping me from dropping more $ than I should.

Well said, Slawburger. For me, it was something of an epiphany. I realized I want to be able to protect myself, my son and my property should the need arise. I was also a little fearful that the government will ban the type of gun I wanted to buy. But I got my 17 round semi-auto, so I'm good there. Now if I could just find enough ammo for it at a price I can afford, I'd feel much better about the whole situation. All in all, it doesn't seem to be a good time to be a newb these days.
