    Just remember boys and girls, the Second Amendment only protects your right to keep and bear arms. It says NOTHING about ammunition...................
    I would not consider bearing an unloaded firearm as "bearing arms". Unless you consider using it as a club but that is not it's primary intended function.

    The fact that it does not specifically mention ammunition is of little consequence and IMO any argument to the contrary would be shot down in flames if the issue ever came before SCOTUS.

    IIRC the British were on their way to Concord to confiscate ball and powder when they ran into a bit of trouble.
