I'm guessing that the only two choices are Liberal and Conservative? Guaranteed to guess me wrong, then.

    So, You're 77% conservative, 23% liberal.

    Liberal qualities

    • You like cats more than dogs (I answered that slightly, only because I have cat and not a dog. Can't say both/neither.)
    • You have a messy desk (No, I just don't try to keep it clean)
    • You think the government should treat the lives of its citizens as equal to those of other countries (all men created equal is a liberal quality?)
    • You use a modern browser (WTF? This is liberal? Seriously?)
    • You prefer the Met to Times Square (I prefer to stay out of New York)

    Conservative qualities

    • You prefer action movies to documentaries (WTF? I'm a GUY)
    • You think kids should respect authority (Yeah. So? We don't need more Honey BooBoos)
    • You think self-control trumps self-expression (Can't say No Opinion)
    • You're not wild about fusion cuisine (Is it any good? I'll eat it if it is. Not just because it is "Fusion". Who wants Inuit-Pakistani food?)
    • You don't think your partner should be looking at porn alone (I wanna watch too!)
    • You think the world benefits from nations and borders (This is conservative? The libs I know pigeon-hole everything)
    • You prefer Times Square to the Met (I prefer to stay out of New York)
    • You're proud of your country's history (Certainly not ashamed)

    What a loony quiz.

    I'm in @ 70% conservative, 30% liberal.

I could tell the pivotal questions. I thought I was the resident Libtard here. I like cats and dogs equally. I think I've become more conservative with age and wisdom. Still, I think El Director (similar #'s) would consider me a flaming liberal. Can I kiss you ?

I went back and took it again changing my answers just slightly (I could've answered this way as well) and now I'm 71% Lib and 29% cons. I may be a flaming Libtard after all. Depends on the day, or if I had enough fiber.

I got 77% Conservative, 23% Liberal. The hardest question for me was the one about how your government treats citizens of other countries. While I feel that all men are created equal, I also feel that our government needs to be more centered on our citizens rights and well being, than those of other countries citizens.

    Liberal qualities

    • You like cats more than dogs
    • You prefer documentaries over action movies
    • You think it's okay for your partner to look at porn alone
    • You use a modern browser
    • You prefer the Met to Times Square

    Conservative qualities

    • You think kids should respect authority
    • You like a neat desk
    • You think self-control trumps self-expression
    • You're not wild about fusion cuisine
    • You think the government should treat the lives of its citizens as much more valuable than those of other countries
    • You think the world benefits from nations and borders
    • You're proud of your country's history

    You're 34% conservative, 66% liberal.

    :bs:

For instance, you'd rather visit the MMOA than Times Square. Actually I'd rather have a colonoscopy w/o anesthesia than visit NYC for any reason. If I have to go there I'd rather visit a quiet place than a zoo. The assumptions underlying their questions are preposterous.

They had me as 75% liberal. Just like all liberal media, they do not get it. I am 100 conservative, but I do like cats over dogs, prefer the Met over Times Square (which is full of liberals), use very sophisticated browser, actually I use very sophisticated software in my work, Indiana conservatives are not bright enough to be able to do that.

Time is trying to jam every philosophy into that nonsensical Liberal VS Conservative paradigm. No surprise there. The establishment foists that crap on us at every turn.

They tell me I'm liberal. lol

I polled to make myself as liberal as possible and hit 99% Here are my very sad "qualities".

You think kids should question authority
    You think self-expression trumps self-control
You think the government should treat the lives of its citizens as equal to those of other countries
You wish there were no countries
You're not completely proud of your country's history

Teaching children to not respect authority and to hate your countries history/heritage is pretty messed up. IMO, if ou selected these, you hate your country, and generally a bad person.

Well sir, it wouldn't be the first time I was accused of such things. IMHO, not all authority is respectable and not all history is something to be proud of.

What does "respecting authority" mean to you? To do whatever they are told, whenever they are told, and believe everything they are told? Like blind little robots? Should I teach my kids to respect the ATF jackboots and the TSA blueshirts? The president? The mayor?

And if you are "completely proud" of your country's history I think you should keep reading. The government has done some monstrous things. Forced abortions. Concentration camps. Theft. Murder. Human experimentation.

Despite all these awful things I still like this country. The government...ehhh......not so much.

The problem with this poll is that it assumes that if you're 75% this, you're also 25% that. There's more to politics than this or that.
