I don’t wish to be alarmist, but as long as the UN “small arms treaty” hasn’t been removed from the Senate, we are still in trouble. Maybe not this senate, but the next one could ratify the treaty, and it becomes US law. The kicker is that if ratified by the Senate, it is not in violation of the Constitution, and becomes the legitimate law of the land. Talk to your Senators, and have them remove it so it isn’t just “one election away”.
I’m normally wrong. Just ask my wife. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is one of those times.

It gets better. Looks like anything larger than a 16ga shotgun is also accidentally banned. Bearingarms is reporting that in their zeal to ban the evil .50cal, they made no concessions for shotguns. So ANYTHING .50 or larger is toast if it includes removable choke tubes. (I presume because they will measure without the choke, which puts it slightly over the limit by millimeters. (was going to say fractions of an inch, but its canada)

So that 12ga Silver Reserve O/U? BANNED because its a super powerful killing machine.
