I love it but you forgot to list the following items that are most critical:
1) Fuel tank capacities should be limited to 10 gallons or less.
2) Gasoline must not be fed automatically to the engine. It must require manual operation of a handcrank by the operator so as not to go too fast.
3) The appearance of the car must look like it cannot go fast or have any resemblance of a menacing appearance.
4) The color of the cars must not be black, FDE, or OD green
5) Pistol grip or paddle shifters are not permitted
6) Remote starters are not permitted since a remote operator has no control over the direction the car is pointed.
I can't get facebook directly at work, and trying to fit this into a post on my phone was an exercise in futility. Thanks Evan and everyone else for throwing this out there. I just posted it myself, now that I'm home and can use the main computer. I know with my lib friends, this should be interesting.
This is a good idea. It's silly to allow ordinary people to drive cars with this much power. These cars were designed for racing on closed tracks, by professionals. Not on our public streets along side school busses.
Most people out there can't be trusted with their 100HP Honda let alone a turbo charged death machine. Half of all drivers are women, which is already dangerous enough, what with their refusal to stop texting non-stop whilst "driving."
Thankfully most minorities can't afford these dangerous cars. But, it's time to remove the option.
