    All,

We got the approval from the BOD of ACC and we are moving forward with another match at ACC on March 14 with registration starting at high-noon. Hopefully the later start time will help with this never-ending winter. As of now we do not have the COF planned: but we will be using five bays and I would guestimate ~150 rounds fired. For more information please see our yahoo group page (you may have to join to see the attachment)

Also, please free to send us any questions at carbine.shooters@yahoo.com

    Thanks

---MATCH IS FULL AT THIS POINT

I went to this match last year and had a lot of fun. I'll be going again this year.

Here is a video I made from last year.

    IDPA-ish rules?

I went last year and had a great time, but I have to work that weekend. :(

Will you be hosting more IDPA-style carbine competitions at Atlanta this year?

I bit the bullet and joined. Here is the document for anyone that isn't a yahoo member. View attachment 36005

    Looks like I'll be going.

Question - I have a Noveske KX3 on my SBR. Can I use it? I see the size requirements higher in the thread but those were for compensators, and this isn't a compensator.

I don't see any issue with it. Honestly, we are very flexiable on the gun/equipment given the following conditions: A) It is safe to run and in good mechanical order (Meaning: not a jam on every other round.) B) Not a "pistol" (Example: ar-15 pistol with Sig brace, Draco, etc) C) Not a .22 short/long caliber. Calibers must be .223, .308, 9mm, .40, etc. Something you would realistically expect to use in a self-defense situation.

Personally I plan on running my AAC .300 Blackout 9" SBR. I need to do some testing soon to see if the timer will work with the suppressor on it with super-sonic loads. Otherwise I may run without it.
