The Credit Card portion of the bill is awful. I think the gun-carry part was added just to weasel in a few more supporters of a great leap forward for socialism.

CC interest rates have been rising because in the following months, they will be forced by law to cater to more dead-beat borrowers, who will do nothing but run up credit lines and not pay it back. Its all just a scheme towards a centralized bank.

I'm always amazed by the people who say "Well, when I'm doing this I carry but when I'm doing this I don't" (such as those here who seem to think that they have a force field around their boat).

Do these people honestly believe that they'll get to pick and choose when they're going to be the victim of a lethal attack?

I am tired of hearing this. I have just over 100 posts and have seen this so many times its not even funny. I respect your opinion but if I want to take the chance of getting shot while I am not wearing my gun to run to the convenience store .5 a mile away I can. 99.9% of the time you will not get shot. The I gotta wear my gun everywhere so people don't shoot me argument is annoying. By all means if you want to do it go right ahead but I'll take my chances. Besides the world is gonna end in 2012 anyways!:lala:

I don't have any issue if you don't want to carry at one time versus another, but I'm going to think you're a fool and I may say so if you post that I'm being stupid for choosing to carry at a time you happen to think the risk of being unarmed is low. Jack posted that someone carrying on the water is being stupid, his opinion and he is entitled to it. But I disagree with him and I posted about the time I did almost need to defend myself while I was on the water (and that was one of the very few times I've come very close to drawing my weapon).

No I don't think you are stupid for carrying all the time. Its perfectly reasonable in most situations. I agree about carrying on the water, especially with the Meth problem here in IN. Have you been to crooked creek? Its backwoods brown county at its finest. We dropped the boat in there one day and when we can back someone has busted the lock on the camper shell and took my stepdad's new weed eater. I will definitely pack if I go there again. I wasn't trying to be hateful with my post and i certainly wasn't trying to take it out on you. I juts think that argument is annoying.

"The National Park System comprises 391 areas covering more than 84 million acres in every state"
U.S. National Park Service - Experience Your America

when your in the middle of one of the big parks were it is 20 miles to the nearest person and you come up on large a predator, or charging beast you be happy as hell you can carry your hand gun. had a black bear and 2 cubs walk out in front of me and my father in Sequoia national park. if we weren't in a truck it might have been a different story. saw elk in the rocky mountian national park that was weighted more than me and my bike put together last july. with a rack that would barley fit with in the lines on the road. looked more like a damn moose it was so big.

From what i was told... we can carry on the lakes and DNR properties as well as the national ones... I know i carry mine to Monroe all the time... In fact... I carry mine EVERYWHERE... usually open carry.... of course post offices and etc it gets locked in the car...

Also, I heard a rumor of a National License to Carry permit..... any validity to this?

Yes you can carry in all state parks, other DNR property & now national parks with an unlimited LTCH - not a target & hunting only license - unless you're hunting, of course. You still can't carry on army corp of engineers property, though, even if managed by IN DNR.

It wasn't a national license but there was an attempt to pass a law that would have required states that issue permits to recognize all other states permits, sort of like a drivers license. It missed passing in the senate by 2 votes. 60 required & it got 58.
