Did meet up with another shooter that sent one back complaining it wouldn't shoot sub moa at 100 yds. Like i told him its a battle rifle!!!!!!!!

Yes, ^^^this^^^ exactly! I'm not expecting target rifle results. I just want to be able to see what I'm shooting at a little better and have an easier time adjusting my POA/POI than with the standard sights. :):

Pardon the crappy cell phone pic, but here's the final outcome.

The new hand guard should be here tomorrow or Thursday. I've got other stuff all arriving in the same timeframe, so honestly I've lost track. :)

If I get ambitious I may refinish both the stock and hand guard so they match. Right now I just want to get it to the range and get the scope sighted in!

I bet. I only have glass on one of my rifles and it was there when I bought it. Would be fun to fit one and dial it in.

Well poop. The hand guard fits, and looks great. Just one problem... It is designed to be held in place with a screw at the front, and the polymer one I took off is held in place by a pin. Just ordered one from Numrich, so I'll have to be patient a little longer.

Careful what you do with those spare parts, they could try to convert themselves into a second rifle.

Just got home from the range and got the scope sighted in. It sure is a nice shooter! The hand guard screw should be here Monday so I can switch it out. I probably will go ahead and refinish the butt stock to match the hand guard. It may not need much other than a good cleaning, but we'll see. The hand guard is in nice shape.
