$8 grand to treat is as sewage vs no additional expenditure to have it run through the drinking water treatment facility that it would have gone through before entering the public water supply anyway.

The drinking water inlet was too near the sewer outlet in Lake Michigan.

Now they have the best water treatment facility in the country!
