This was my first thought too. If the job they’re supposed to be doing isn’t worth doing then we can get rid of them doing a job that doesn’t need doing.And on a related note, it kinda makes you wonder if air marshals are even necessary?
They havent stopped any active attacks*, and are also willing to divert all resources away from air travel. So they must either be willing to live with the consequences, or they know that the air marshal service isnt really necessary for its stated purpose.
