CMP Philippine Garand returns

I don't know how true it is, but I have *heard* that the CMP makes sure to get you a good rifle if you order by mail, just so they can avoid returns as much as possible. I went to the North store to get mine (Service Grade) and wound up returning it anyway (some kind of timing issue made it eject the clip prematurely and they couldn't fix it after 2 attempts). The replacement rifle was an upgrade to a Special grade, so I wasn't too upset.

I received a e-mail from CMP and it looks like they have a plan to sell the some of the pitted M1s.
