The left has thrown the term racist around so indiscriminately for so long that it no longer means anything. Rather than learn something from it, they appear to have decided to do the same for the terms nazi and white supremacist.

The strange thing is that I have had discussions with left-leaning people that tell me that the right has thrown the term socialist around so indiscriminately that it no longer means anything bad to them, and I think they have a point, but the very same people that have said that to me then go on with the name-calling of Trump.

I can totally agree with this, but the right has been catching up really fast. The learning curve is really short.

One person saying one thing doesn't always prove anything. A larger group of people saying the same thing generally is something worth at least considering or looking into.

The irony is getting pretty thick in here.

You must spread some Participation Reputation around before giving it to AmmoManAaron again.

Wow, two groups Trump either admires or often defends.

Come on man.........you know this is not a true statement.

No, I'm afraid it is true.

Somehow I just find his statements on or about both groups to be extremely odd if he weren't our president and extremely problematic because he is. His admiration for a dictators strength and popularity, really what is that?? Really who does that? Sorry, I don't admire a dictators strength because I realize through that so called strength the dictator has only remained strong by suppressing people and often remaining strong by killing those who disagree with him. So please tell me who in their right mind admires dictators?

Then there's his pandering to white supremacist. And yes I view his comments as pandering to white supremacist.

I only believe the worst of DT because DT often shows he is the worst of us, oh, and by the way discount this on MSM if you want. But it's not MSM that says what DT says or Tweets. It's what DT says and Tweets and does that I judge DT on.

It seems to be this is becoming the norm. Who can come up with the nastiest label and make it stick.
    Who is worse the left/right.
The right has a lot of ground to cover to catch up. There are a more "Sub" groups born of the left leaning and I can not keep up.

Rob63 brings up a good point. Socialist is not so much a label as a fact. Those who believe that in free this and free that are in fact socialists in mind set. That argument can be made effectively. Calling me a racist/Nazi/Brown shirt etc is more slander than anything realistic. But the name calling and the mind numbing labels just keep coming.

Truth is the first casualty of hate...These Trump haters remind me of the "birthers"....The irony is they got very upset over the birther movement and have no idea that they are actually peddling worse garbage...

I would rather have someone question where I was born rather than insinuate that I am a murderous dictator....I admire your patience sir....I couldn't be a mod...

I had forgotten the birther thing. Kut may be on to something here.

In all of the reading I do it has come to light that we are all who we are for the path we have walked in this life. In respecting this I have learned a lot. From all of you. The worst part of being a mod is having to get out the hammer. When all else fails. I like to see a nice layer of dust on it from "Non-use"as that means all is OK

I am in the end a better person for it. So many well read and intelligent folks in deep discussion.

Obama literally bowed down to dictators. But that was okay, I guess. He sent plane loads of money to a dictator he knew would turn right around and funnel that money to terrorists. Again, that's just dandy. Trump wasn't pandering to white supremacists and anyone who is intellectually honest knows this. He was trying to make a point and, as usual, he did it poorly. But the point remains valid. But that doesn't matter. It quickly turned into grist for the leftist mill and the truth is once again hidden, ignored or simply shouted down. Gosh, I hope Melania is wearing the appropriate shoes today.

    Typical

Your only excuse for Trumps weird, sorry, inappropriate, or wrong headed behavior is somebody else's perceived inappropriate behavior.

The truly hilarious part is how he lives rent free in so many people's head. But, after all, there does seem to be plenty of room and it isn't like it was being used for anything else.
