But until the whole protected territory scheme needs to end. Life and employment are mobile, the teams fans root for are not necessarily where they live. The NFL and its broadcast partners need to get with how people live today…

Protected territory never makes the most money for the league, just more for some teams, Dallas in particular because Jones gets the Cowboys on the FOX main afternoon game, a lot, for national exposure, while most other teams are limited to their territory footprint.
